Well..........? Any idea where the box came from?

No.  They had no clue.  I imagine they will hold onto it until someone finds it missing.

Alec is fine and all but how was the Cohiba?  That’s the Robusto Year of the Pig, right?

Great story. ??

They are very good.  To my knowledge, they make no claim to the age of the cigar, but they look, feel and taste more similar to CoRo’s of the past rather than current production CoRos.  In my experience, CoRo’s have changed in the last 3 or 4 years.  They used to look more consistent, but not necessarily taste more consistent.  Now, their look is much less consistent, but they all seem to taste very good, at least to me.

These Year of the Pigs, have the look of the older CoRo.  Consistent with the color and the roll, which seems to have gotten slightly looser in recent years.  These are on the firm side.  The older CoRos were a little more firm, while now they are a little spongier, with wrappers all over the place as far as color.

I really thought you were going to say Alec had them put there as a thank you or something.

Well, he does have a locker there, but no, I dont think so.  LOL

They dont give us keys.  There is only 1 key that opens all the lockers, and you need to ask the manager to get into your own locker.  So  someone must have taken these out, and the manager put them back in the wrong locker.  This doesn’t exactly instill confidence in me, but I dont put anything in there I cant afford to lose.  Just a couple of boxes of relatively inexpensive regular production cigars.

Just ran into him again at the Gym. Told him I have a cigar for him in my car.  After my workout he walked out to my car with me and I gave him one of those pre-released Novedosos.
Apologies in advance to the member who I just yesterday told that I can’t give him one because I only have a few.

I'm not the least bit impressed that you know Alec Baldwin.

I will admit to being a bit jealous about the '00 CoRo, but that pic of your tanned feet with flip flop marks impressed me immensely.

Well done Sir!

Thanks.  LOL

BTW, I would never characterize it as “I know Alec Baldwin”.  He’s just a guy that I see around town a lot.  It’s a small town.  Actually, for the last 20 years, I always thought he was bit of a douchbag.  For some reason that I dont know, he has been extra friendly with me this summer.?‍♂️?‍♂️?‍♂️

He follows you on this forum and knows what your humi looks like!  Classy move giving him a low stock, hard to find stick.  I’ve got my own feelers out for a box if they’ll ever hit the LCDH.

Great story, indeed, Dr.

Neat outcome to the story!  They're mostly just regular folks.  I bet he was thrilled to be given that Novedosos, and even more as he smoked it (if he already has).
