PL MCs & Panetelas 86'd?

I keep hearing these 2 vitolas have been discontinued. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

The panetela is. I haven’t heard anything about the Montecarlo.

Sacré bleu! I certainly hope not. I know I wouldn't be the only one on this forum extremely disappointed if the PLMC was discontinued. And the Panetelas also have a large following too. However I have come to begrudgingly accept that our forum is not indicative of the general market.  It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest that they would cut one of the best value vitolas there is out of Cuba, but I am getting kinda sick of HSA and Tabacuba axing my favourite smokes!

Like the LGC MdO4, if PLMC has made it this far it's probably not going anywhere.

I don't see too many older codes for it so that would lead me to believe it actually sells fairly well worldwide. I know it does pretty good around here. I'm certainly a fan.

Well I just ordered 5 boxes, wonder if that's enough with the amount I smoke per year… I guess I have to start stockpiling the RGPEs now before they get axed.

Sancho Non Plus are fire. Ordering boxes...

Yes, you see seven red shaded rows there but only six are deleted (Bolivar Tubos No.3, H.Upmann Coronas Minor, La Flor de Cano Selectos, Por Larranaga Panatelas, Quintero Nacionales - sorry @CaptainQuintero and of course, the Sancho Panza Non Plus). The Partagas Maduro No.1 is only to be deleted from being a special release and is moving to regular production, together with the new releases, the Partagas Maduro No.2 and Partagas Maduro No.3. Maybe Habanos S.A. figured that Cohiba has three maduro releases so why not another global marca? Who knows?

A caveat about ordering Sancho Panza Non Plus. Be mindful, in fact very mindful of two things; one, if you get a box with those rustic sandpaper wrappers then best of luck to you because you may be wondering why you bothered, secondly, if you get decent wrappers then you may not escape one-third to one-half of the box being too tight to simply plugged. In any case, you'd be getting them for prosperity's sake and you are best to get an older box, not recent. Recent Sancho Panza Panza Non Plus hasn't been stellar (I mean when was the last time you saw a listing of it on 24:24?), unlike it's campanas cousin, the Sancho Panza Belicocos.

I saw this and my heart sank (Read: furious white-hot anger) thinking it was the Pantetelas going, thankfully not. The Nacionales is the poorer cousin, phew!!

Really close in profile IMHO. I smoke quite a few b/c I have problems tracking down my beloved Belicosos. Salty & loamy. Love.

All the 2017 boxes that I've gotten out of Europe are stellar & have smoked great.
