Ritch Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 Well today I decided to get a few cigars out of one of the large humidors. Whilst routing around for something different to smoke I picked up a random box to have a look and thought damn! Forgot I had purchased these. The box was some PSP Ramon Allones Gigantes that just look amazing. I was gobsmacked as I had totally forgot about buying them. Even more gobsmacked because I so very nearly ordered a box of them from 2424 the other day. What boxes have you forgotten about?

Habana Mike Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 I have a few coolers along with my cabinet humidor and do forget about boxes time to time. I do a fairly regular beetle check and inventory though so have a pretty good sense and documentation of what I've got. Still surprised occasionally, especially from the singles drawers. 1
Islandboy Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 Not quite to the point of accumulating years of stuff I forget about, but I purposely buried my Jun 17 box of PSE2’s behind the stacks. Dug in and pulled one out about a week back....damn those things are fine! 1
JohnS Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 My Cuban Cigar Website Inventory states that I have two 2011 Rafael Gonzalez Perlas in my humidors but I can only see one at the top of one of them. I figure the other is down near the bottom somewhere and I need to search it out at some point soon. 1
Fuzz Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 Last year , for a few weeks I was wondering why there were 4 Partagas Coronas in my Xikar case. For the life of me, I could not remember where they came from. Did somebody give them to me? Did I recall a box from the OLH? 2 months later, as I was digging through the humidor, I found said box of Partagas Coronas. It then dawned on me that I did indeed buy a box 6 months prior. Did some more digging into my singles tupperdor and found some '06 Siglo VI and CoRos at the bottom that I had forgotten about. 2
Tstew75 Posted July 29, 2019 Posted July 29, 2019 I recently found a partial box of HUP Mag 56 ELs I forgot I had. That made me happy 1
SOFLO88 Posted July 29, 2019 Posted July 29, 2019 It was a non cuban. Opus X Super Belicoso. two years of ago. It was so good.
Kitchen Posted July 30, 2019 Posted July 30, 2019 Box of Punch 48. I bought it a while ago and completely forgot about it until about 4 months ago. I was interested in another cigar at the time and just put it back into the long storage, and then forgot about it again. Perhaps I'll have on this summer.
JY0 Posted July 30, 2019 Posted July 30, 2019 I rediscovered an unopened box of PL Encantos recently. They were buried and I forgot I had them. Woo!
Akd313 Posted July 30, 2019 Posted July 30, 2019 Great thread! Looking to get to the point where I have boxes I actually forget about! 1 1 1
GrouchoMarx Posted July 30, 2019 Posted July 30, 2019 I always thank my stars that my ex isn't in there, 1 1

Figure I'm at least 5 years out and a few commission checks deep on FOH auctions where I can be pulling out random boxes I've forgotten about. 1
Kingme29 Posted July 31, 2019 Posted July 31, 2019 I am embarrassed (but also quite proud) to say that I stumbled upon a box of Edmundo Dantes Conde 54's with about 12 sticks left in it. I was busy coveting my last full box, weary of breaking up the team of 25 for some financial/emotional/illogical, but still compelling reason and it turns out theres no need to make the Sophies choice just yet! I admittedly am a hoarder but try my best to keep track through excel spreadsheets, but obviously have been derelict in my data entry duties. A part of me actually enjoys finding forgotten boxes, it's almost like acquiring them all over again. JY0 - Forgetting a full box of Encantos may be even more unforgivable! Excellent find. 1
Human Jukebox Posted August 3, 2019 Posted August 3, 2019 ? I just received my first box of H. Upmann Conn 1 ENE 16....probably a few years from having this great problem lol

I have two full intact boxes "TOR DIC 05" of these Mag 56 ELs in one of my coolidors and have not smoked one.
PigFish Posted August 4, 2019 Posted August 4, 2019 ... every know and again I remember that I also have a humidor in the living room! -the Pig 1 1
ElJavi76 Posted August 4, 2019 Posted August 4, 2019 Looking around for inventory to take to the beach two days ago I ran into two boxes I forgot I bought. They're not very old purchases either. Stumbled upon two Rio Seco 10ers. Looking at my CC card bill the other day I'm like what did I order for this amount from FOH? The RS's. The one ROTT was good but they've got potential for long term aging. I'll keep buying stuff in hopes I can forget about a bunch of stuff and be sitting pretty in 7 or 8 years. Sound advice in the newbie video posted earlier.
