Decided to pull out a discontinued cigar to celebrate a healthy recovery for my wife.

Punched the cigar and paired with SDC 12.

 

This cigar had a very solid pack and burned flawlessly. The draw was a touch on the snug side but to my liking.

 

 

1st: mild toasted tobacco with a dominant nutty flavour.

2nd: started to pick up some leather and a sharp fruity note I could not pinpoint.

3rd: this was the best part of the cigar where I was able pick up notes of cashews, leather and cedar. Very complex by the end of the cigar.

I have never had a Cuban burn quite like this one. No touch ups and burned with a stack of dimes.

 

Excellent cigar that was on the medium spectrum.

Rated 95.

Excellent review.  My favorite cigar of all time. Too bad I smiled my last one years ago.
