toledo1969 Posted March 31, 2019 Posted March 31, 2019 Not sure if I already posted this review, I smoked this habano over 2 months ago. Not very impressed, a lot of soft spots, lose draw. Taste was good, mellow, but just something missing, underfilled was the biggest problem. It's the first one I smoke from this Box. Review: La Flor de Cano Grandiosos Edición Regional Asia Pacifico (2013) (5 3/8 x 52). VH Rating 91, still needs another 5 Years of aging. 3
Raskol Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 Smoked 6. Out of that, 3 was like something missing & under filled like you described. The other 3 was a thoroughly enjoyable.. Mild, good combustion, great flavors. Sweet, creamy with lil vanilla...cedar too. Very smooth & find it easy on the retrohale.. Best to use a punch, as I find them quite loose (wind tunnel like) when I use straight or v-cut. Will give another try in the upcoming months...Hope the next one would be a great one for you... IanMcLean68 Posted April 27, 2019 Posted April 27, 2019 Under-filling has really let this cigar down IMO. Fantastic cigar that is now coming into its own in regards to flavour, as long as it is well constructed - and it appears from my box that is about a 50/50 proposition. I remember ranking this as one of my favourite of the RE releases at 5 years age but I realise now that is quite hit-and-miss..
dicko Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 These are great when on but as you point out have suffered from underfilling
