Popular Post Bucky McSwensen Posted March 31, 2019 Popular Post Posted March 31, 2019 Dry draw sweet and spicy cream. Like a peppery chai latte, little hints of apple cider without the apple. Kicks off with some baking spices and a hint of sourdough toast. The flavors are powerful and pack a punch but it really feels like a light cigar in body. The aftertaste between puffs has complexity. I know how stupid that sounds but Im really enjoying the spaces in between as I taste a soft tobacco, pepper, cloves, and then a finish of sweet paprika. The subtle sour citris flavor comes and I occasionally get an aftertaste of lemonade. Im even getting little bits of sweet tea. This thing tasted like an Arnold palmer for a few minutes. Second third loses the crazy rollercoasters of flavors and sticks with slightly peppery sourdough toast. Retrohale is a mellow spiciness. Little smooth hits of cream come and go. Almost tastes like garlic bread cooked on a grill without the garlic. Dry toast, buttery at times, twangy flavors. All enjoyable. Final third mellows out a bit. I split the wrapper bad when removing the band (should be peeled it off) but the binder holds it together. Flawless construction throughout. Smooth cedar smokey flavors. Hints of sweet bbq rub (ribs almost) with paprika and brown sugar. The tea flavors come and go. Little kicks of black and white pepper but nothing overpowering. Final nub flavors of sourdough return. Little bits of tanic bitterness but nothing unpleasant. Just shows great aging potential. I had one of these about a month ago that I really wasn’t thrilled with at all. Glad this one was the deep review as it knocked it out of the park. Lovely 90 min smoke. Shout out to @CigarScentedBeard for inspiring the collage. I'd value it at $21.00 Cuba rating = 2.49 Purchase rating = 1.84 Ratings are based on a ratio of value/cost. 1.00 means I value it the same as it cost. Less means it wasn't worth the purchase. More means it was a deal) 7
Islandboy Posted March 31, 2019 Posted March 31, 2019 Nice review! I just read this after posting my own review of the same, sounds like we picked up a lot of the same flavors. I actually thought garlic toast at one point too.
MigsG Posted March 31, 2019 Posted March 31, 2019 Sounds delicious, great review. Better for you than a P2?

Very different smoke for being the same brand. All my E2s are lighter wrappers where my P2s tend to be darker and oilier. Its be hard to pick one so I'm glad I have a bit of both the switch things up 1
