Riverstyx Posted April 17, 2019 Author Posted April 17, 2019 @Eric05 no, not yet. Hopefully the humidor will be done in the next week. The rest will probably take a few more weeks. I’ll keep updating pics as progress continues.
Optic101 Posted April 19, 2019 Posted April 19, 2019 Congratulations !!! Cool project and looks already great as it is. Keep the pictures coming. 1
Popular Post Riverstyx Posted April 19, 2019 Author Popular Post Posted April 19, 2019 Shelves installed, but still some adjusting to do. Monday will be electrical work, staining the door (and lock/handle), and A/C work to begin. 9
Cayman17 Posted April 19, 2019 Posted April 19, 2019 Looks great! I’m jealous. Would love to do this at my house. I would need to build an addition though. Or maybe in the basement. 1
Popular Post Riverstyx Posted May 11, 2019 Author Popular Post Posted May 11, 2019 There is still plenty of work to do, but here is an update. The ventilation is strong and loud (even though it came with a muffler!). Chairs will hopefully be in today. Still have to install cooling in humidor. Then plenty of details. 19

Are there many cigar man cave designers in US? Also, what is your ventilation system in your man cave project? 1
Riverstyx Posted May 11, 2019 Author Posted May 11, 2019 @LonesomeHabanoAficionado The ventilation system is a 560cfm variable rate fan. 1
Eric05 Posted May 11, 2019 Posted May 11, 2019 coming together very nicely, I wish I had the room to do something like this in my basement 1
Connoisseur Kim Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 @Riverstyx Thanks buddy! I really like cigar cabinet and lighting in cigar cabinet too! ? 1
Popular Post Riverstyx Posted June 20, 2019 Author Popular Post Posted June 20, 2019 The room is taking longer than expected, but I finally have the humidor about where I want it. The only issue is that the cooling system sucks a lot of the humidity out and I'm going through distilled water faster than I'd like. I may end up having the drain line go back into the humidification device. 29 2 1

Hadroxity Posted June 23, 2019 Posted June 23, 2019 This looks amazing, did you follow a guide on how to seal the walk in humidor to maintain humidity? 1
Skypilot Posted June 23, 2019 Posted June 23, 2019 That is amazing. I have enjoyed watching this progress. Enjoy! 1

I worked with Bob Staebell on the project. The only requirement was ensuring use of outdoor doors with a weather seal. It seals great. 1
