Ken Gargett Posted March 22, 2019 Posted March 22, 2019 okay, so i have been on it for a bit over a week. all was going well (if one does not count actually understanding why it exists but leave that aside). then this afternoon - and i really really hate technology when one uses it happily for a while and then it changes and can't be used without me doing anything at all differently - when i try and post a pic on it, it has gone weird. the heading says camera roll. and it is on 'library' but the pic there for posting is the very latest i have taken. can't get any other pic on the phone up. and i can't even make a comment because the keyboard has gone for holidays to christ knows where. i swear, i did nothing different. this just started happening, making the whole thing hard more useless than before. and who would have thought that possible. any thoughts from those a little more well versed in dealing with this demon than myself?

Seriously.... if you’ve closed the app and reopened it and it still doesn’t work properly and you have any latest updates installed and still have issues I might consider deleting and reinstalling it. Not sure why you’re having trouble. Not something i’ve seen before....

The same thing is happening to me, Ken. To scroll through your photo library, scroll up and down ⬆️⬇️ with your finger, thumb etc. Once you select your pic and hit “next” it will take you to the screen where you can add your comment, tag others, etc. 1

To delete you usually just long press on it, and you will see something pop up that asked if you want to delete (uninstall) the app.

BuzzArd Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 I will reiterate, Ken, use good hashtags (now that you know what they are). Keep them relatively simple. Like the wine name, cigar name, vinyard, region etc. If it was a great Riesling use #riesling and (if you want) #greatrisling. Hashtags can be followed. #greatriesling won’t return much, but #riesling definitely will. And add #closstehune #2012 #2012riesling etc to get your post more attention. IG is all about being seen, and we all know you like the attention. ??
