Punch Double Coronas - possible discontinuation???

I just got wind that the Punch DCs have been discontinued.  Is this true or just false information?

With that said, he was under the assumption that Sir Winstons were discontinued years ago, probably since he had not received any stock for many years.

Just curious.  I still see them for sale here and there.  May be old stock however, and I think some folks have recently have reported seeing them in LCDHs in Havana.  

I hope they're not discontinued...

Me too.  I love the evolution of the Punch DCs and find them to be the best investment in time of the long sticks.  Looking for a box because of that.

Well, given that 50 Cabs have been showing up all over the place, and 25 dress boxes are apparently due to appear here soon, this seems like wrong information!

I want to say in Feb Pres had 50 cabs of the Punch DC up on 24:24 with a 2018 date. I’m sure someone on here has the specifics but I recall them popping up and missing out.

Nope.  My friend just picked up a 50 Cab a few weeks ago in Havana.  Box code.  EBM JUL 18.

We saw 50 cabs of Punch DC with similar codes in Havana last November. Definitely not a deletion if the codes are that recent.

Sir Winnies go through periods of non-production, then pop back up again.

I was just looking for some of these a few days ago! Would love to get my hands on a dress box or cab. On the look out! Would be great if they came up on 24:24 again.

I bought a 50 cab in Havana 2 months ago.  Late 2018 box code, forgot the exact month.  I bought blind and opened up a week later at home.  They were beautiful.  I was very happy.

Hi all, just picked up a dress box at the Hotel Nacional on Friday. There were four others left. Dec. 18 date code, with nice wrappers on the darker side. Happy to post a pic when they are done with the deep freeze on Thursday.

Well, I guess I need to start stocking up on RAGs as well as Punch DCs. Don’t want to be left out in the cold when the rumors become reality.

No official statement has been issued about the Punch DC. Still in current production as of today, but any DC except maybe the Lusitania is a potential cut at any time.

Just grabbed some off 24:24. Hoarding DCs is expensive...  but like was said in another thread about the price hike, it's an investment, right?
