Montecristo Number 4 AEM May 2014 (MRW)

A bit lighter in color than many Monte’s. In fact it’s a bit ugly in general. 

The draw is good on this one. A nice change from the last few cigars I’ve had that have been tight. Some prefer tight, but I prefer mine as loose as a 30 year old porn star. 

Flavors are smoothe. A good Cuban twang, with plenty of cocoa. Plenty of smoke for a smaller cigar. At first, I let it get too hot but eventually let it cool down and got more smoothe, cool. Several retro’s had hints of grass. Not something I usually like in Monte, but it wasn’t overpowering. Overall, a good but not great smoke. I’d give it a 91.
