Montecristo Number 4 ABO MAY 18 (MRW)

This is my Monte 4, there are many like it but this is mine!  I've developed a taste for these little cream bombs.  I currently have two PSP boxes, nice an oily, sitting an d aging.  This is an HQ that I got as part of a sampler.  10 months old, I received it 5 months ago. 

Looks nice, not much sheen, but construction seems nice.  Draw seems good, but once I light it, seems to have some empty pockets.  Overall it seems dry, although the tupperdor it came from is currently at 62% and 18 degrees C (after being opened about an hour ago, tends to run more 16-17 degrees).  Throughout the smoke it seemed a tad dry, and couldn't keep an ash on very long.

Cream.  Toasted tobacco.  Cream.  Paired with a nice Ron Zacapa and mexican coke Cuba Libre.  Overall a nice way to sit on back porch on  a Saturday evening enjoying the early spring after  planting some this afternoon and FINALLY getting truck washed after all this rain in the south.

I love Monte 4's.  My good  friend loves 2's. although in pyramids I've tended more towards Partagas, probably my second favorite marca.  But once my current boxes sleep a bit I'm looking forward to continuing to smoke 4's for many years. I debated pulling out my 80th Anniversario I got in a sampler for this review, but it's hard to not grab a 4.  Cream and perfect amount of time, and not to big and not too thick.  I see why these are  the best selling CC.
