My very first review, but I thought I would get in on the action here! To me, the Monte 5 is the perfect little smoke to pair with coffee to start the day. This box has been consistently great; all have been a treat from start to finish. I paired this one with an Americano. Cut with my new Colibri Quasar punch, and lit with my ST Dupont Maxijet. Aroma and flavour pre-light is all coffee and chocolate, with a faint sweetness. Once lit, those flavours are present with more coffee notes and a bit of spice on the retrohale for the first few puffs. That spice drops off almost immediately, and is replaced by a little brown sugar/vanilla sweetness. The first half is more coffee than chocolate, but this switches up around the halfway point. Richer chocolate notes then dominate, with some vanilla and toffee mixing in. The draw is just slightly on the firm side which I like, and the burn is perfect. No touch-ups are required and it's good to the nubby end!
