Popular Post rcarlson Posted March 16, 2019 Popular Post Posted March 16, 2019 I was introduced to the Monte No. 4 late last year and have become a real fan. I find them to be little flavor bombs that satiate my all-day Monte cravings. Cold draw and aroma were on the mark. Perfectly packed and constructed. First few draws hit the spot. Creamy cocoa, coffee, faint sweetness. Immediately produced the whitest ash I have ever encountered in a Cuban. Against the milk chocolate wrapper, it was an interesting contrast reminiscent of. . . ummm. . . I shall name it "Sisqo." At the halfway point, the power increased as the creamy mocha faded to woody espresso. Draw and burn remained even. However, like its namesake, the glory was short-lived. In the final stretch, it lost its appeal and turned bitter. It's hard getting to the top, but harder staying there. Gonna give this little guy a B-. Still, I'll come back for the nostalgia tour. 6
MigsG Posted March 16, 2019 Posted March 16, 2019 I love the Monte #4 and always have a few sticks on for when I get those same Monte cravings. So good with a sweet latte, IMHO. Great review!
