Popular Post Chucko8 Posted March 8, 2019 Popular Post Posted March 8, 2019 Friday afternoon at work with a 20 minute coffee break, time enough for a Demi Tasse. Last tried on from this box in November last year, so will be interesting to compare. Wrapper looks pretty decent for a smaller stick with a oily sheen present and construction feels good with no soft spots. Nothing too much on the smell, though not really much to it so no surprise there I guess. Pre-draw feels just right a little resistance but nice flow of air and a light sweetness to the taste. First third the sweetness detected in the pre-draw stays and feels honey like and light fruity flavour present. A mild pepper on the retro helps to balance the sweeter notes and there is a toasty tobacco smell. 2nd third a little more spiciness comes into the stick which is nice as the profile from the 1/3rd has stayed pretty much constant with some additional cedar earthy feel. Had another sip of the coffee then back to the cigar, retro hale and then boom the fruit profile went into a grapefruit twang. Very nice! The burn is going quite well and the ash is holding nicely. Final 3rd the flavour picks up as getting down closer to the end and the spice, black pepper profile is quite prevalent. Still that light sweetness there in the form of a bitter chocolate I would guess. Construction wise i feel it is holding very well, ash holds on well. Great 20 minute break from work and nice little stick to make that break all the better. The price for these isn't that great for the size, though it's great for a quick enjoyable stick. I score it a great coffee break work stick.. 7 1
RDB Posted March 8, 2019 Posted March 8, 2019 Great review, and looks much tastier than the jet fuel aroma... 1
