Anyone else here tie fly’s? Anyone else have a stick while they Tie?

I tie almost every night...nice way to wind down a busy day..

Tonight I’m tying a few dozen pin fish patterns for snook and having a psd4.

Started tying and building rods in the early 90’s in high school. All my rods and tying equipment are just collecting dust in the garage. Dang work, wife, and twins are dragging down my hobbies. Hoping to slowly pick things up soon.

Me too and didn’t touch a thing for 4 years when the kiddos came. Back into it now...

Spent some time on the vice today... glad I have a hobby to keep me occupied these days.

Hex nymphs. My most productive steelhead pattern.

It’s nice to tie a batch of flies and having them validated soon afterwards. Had a great day of steelhead fishing. Landed 4.
