Lol not sure if this what you were alluding to but I recently stumbled upon some very interesting internet reading regarding Justin Trudeau and Fidel Castro... anyone who is not sure what I’m referring to should do a quick google of “Trudeau and Castro”. True or not Justin’s mom was pretty close with Fidel apparently.

Haha. I wasn't referencing this in particular. But the Senior Trudeau and Fidel were very close, years ago, and the Trudeaus visited the island regularly, with little Justin in tow.

I was referencing the Encuentros de Partagas opening dinner at the Melia Cohiba a few years ago. It was by far the smokiest room I've ever been in and the only real ventilation was the double doors leading out to the Hotel lobby. JT was there with his family for a diplomatic visit of some sort and they left the hotel through the lobby as the opening dinner was hitting full swing. They obviously got a face full of smoke on the way out and he complained to the Canadian media about it a couple days later, we all had a good laugh. One of the Canadian members posted a link to the article a couple years ago, but I cant find it now.

Are these places publicly accessible?  I spent a brief period in Hing Kong a few years ago and couldn’t find the lounges I was looking for.  I also had no smart phone or any ability to communicate with the locals lol

i have visited 4 or 5 cigar divans in Hong Kong when I traveled there on business back in the late 90's, early 2000. The one I was most impressed with was Cigarro. Tremendous selection of vintage cigars and hard to find cigars. The lounge was well appointed, but the private lockers were amazing. They were some form of see through plastic or acrylic material. Hong Kong has some very serious cigar collectors and Cigarro is the home to some of those folks.

Unfortunately Cigarro is not longer full of vintage cigars. Much of their stock has been depleted by customers and so gone were the days you can find some gems.
