Quick Review: Punch Punch from 2018 Xmas Sampler

Well, this was just absolutely delicious. I had a rather boring Partagas E2 last night, and this was soooo much more satisfying. Started out a touch under mid-bodied, and the flavours quite hard for me to define: fragrant woods but not drying, instead a lovely richness. I was looking for the clove that @Elpresidente talks about and initially couldn’t see it, and then just near the end of the second third: bang. There it was: piercing clove sweetness. Like an Indonesian cigarette for a moment, then melding into the other flavours. Super burn, lovely building evolution. And this is a young stick. So happy to have got a box of the recent 2016s from 24:24. Woof!
