Agreed, Rams didn't deserve to be there, It was enjoyable for me to watch Belichick/McDaniels/Flores teach the entire organization a lesson. 4 hours ago, Cep said: Yet the rams almost won if not for a dropped pass for a TD Arguably two! and both by the Ram's most productive (by yards gained) player in the game. Although Goff was about 3 seconds late with the throw on the first one. Personally, I enjoyed the game thoroughly. But I have always been defensive minded. Weather it be Lacrosse, football, basketball. What ever the sport, my best games where when I shut my opponent down. To me, nothing is more rewarding than seeing a fat 0 on the scoreboard under your opponents name. They can't be you if they can't score. I looked over to my brother about halfway through the third quarter (before things opened up ?) and told him "I hope this is the final score" (3-0) It really couldn't have gone better in my view. Complete schmucks are getting hired as NFL coaches this off season because they friends with Sean McVay, seriously. The media can not stop talking about all these new flash in the pan QB's and coaches with no experience or track record. Mahommes will not win MVP next year, or win a superbowl with Andy Reed as his coach, the Goff/McVay pairing clearly wasn't all it was cracked up to be. Go back a few more years, remember when Jamies and Mariotta where going to change the world? Oh the Wildcat formation!! It's all bull&#!! Entertainment. While all these geniuses have been getting the publicity the Patriots have been winning chmapionships at a clip never before seen in the NFL. You know what it takes to beat all that flash and flare? Discipline and apparently a defensive gameplan from the 60's. I've never seen an offensive line fall for the same 3 blitz's more than the Ram's did. I know these blitzes were invented before Mcvay was born, but I thought he was a student of the game? Stunt the tackles an send the MLB up one of the A gap's in behind them on a delay, I had it identified by the end of the first quarter, the Ram's didn't seem to identify it at ANY point in the game. They never gave the O-line any help. No Backs or tight ends chipping, no scheme changes, just the same ineffective stuff for 4 quarters. This Pats dynasty is the best to ever do it. Plain and simple. The credit should also be spread much further than Brady/Belichick as well. There are a lot of people in the "Business" side of the organization that enable them to do what they do so well. I've never understood the Hatred that winners breed. Weather its this group of Patriots, The Yankees of the late 90's/early 00's, or any other dynasty people "hate" them. But when pressured on exactly why they hate them I rarely, if ever, get a good answer. I don't see how eliminating the best and allowing everybody else to revert to the, now much lower, mean makes the game better. We should see every other team striving to emulate the Partriots, striving to get better, striving to beat them. Not complaining about all their "cheating" and "advantages." Did you hear Tom Brady or a single person on the Patriots complain about the green laser pointer that was in TB's eyes at Arrowhead a couple weeks ago? If that had been The Golden Mahommes getting Lasered at Foxborough we'd be looking at an 18th month investigation. We're lucky to be witnessing this run and I, for one, will be a bit sad/nostalgic when its over. 7 1

Rams will be contenders again next year, it will depend on if Goff can improve on this piss poor performance and I Gurley can get healthy again. My prediction is Gronk retires, and I think the Pats era slowly starts to crumble over the next 2 years when I expect brady to retire. lol...talk about going out on a limb with a prediction... did you wait 10 years to come to the conclusion that something that has lasted longer than any other dynastic period in the history of NFL football? Snoozefest my foot!!! Hard fought game in the trenches ad toughest, smartest team came out on top! GOOOOO PATS!! LETTTS GOOOO!!!
LLC Posted February 5, 2019 Posted February 5, 2019 Boring game, brutal half time show and the occasional entertaining commercial. Between New Orleans getting screwed, one of the worst Super Bowls games and the worst half time show, it wasn’t the NFL’s finest hour. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
joeypots Posted February 5, 2019 Posted February 5, 2019 From today’s Boston Globe article about the locker room celebration after the big game. “Robert Kraft brought in 50-year-old cigars, in a shiny navy blue and cedar-lined box with “Patriots” emblazoned across the top and a gold plate attached to the inside panel reading, “We are all Patriots.” 1
