Popular Post IanMcLean68 Posted January 26, 2019 Popular Post Posted January 26, 2019 It is always hard to lose a pet I know. It's my turn today. RIP Merlin. Red Burmese. He made 19 years - a good innings. Stopped breathing at 3am this morning. He is now resting in the garden next to his brother. A super affectionate person cat, he loved everyone. Vocal and intelligent. You will be missed my close friend. ? 5 18
Derboesekoenig Posted January 26, 2019 Posted January 26, 2019 19?? Wow I didn't know cats lived that long. Sorry bud that sucks 1
MoeFOH Posted January 26, 2019 Posted January 26, 2019 Condolences, brother. I've just become a cat person myself. Man, 19 years is a good inning though. 1
multi-useless Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 Another cat person here; sorry for your loss 1
THEMISCHMAN Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 Very sad to hear. 19 is a good run and a lot of fond memories I’m sure. RIP Merlin. 1
Jimmy_jack Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 Ugh...that's tough. My cat too is very vocal and smart. It's strange how some of them grow on you. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk 1
Islandboy Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 Sorry to hear of this, it’s never easy, I know. Ironically I read this post while at the vet today to send our oldest cat Tigger on to a better, less painful place. The old man’s at peace now. Tonight I toast to Tigger and Merlin. 2 1
teewinot Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 My condolences....19 years...heck of a span 1

Thanks @Islandboy and my condolences to you too. I'll join you in that toast this evening. I'll pick out a special cigar and a single malt. Sad but also good that they are both now at peace. To Tigger & Merlin. 2
Drguano Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 Godspeed Merlin... I am very sorry to hear of your loss. 1
BDSpiritual1 Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 As another cat owner, my condolences for your loss @IanMcLean68 1
99call Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 Sorry to hear about your loss of a good friend. When a pet dies, I always find it very comforting to think about the fact that so man animals don't get wonderful life your cat would of had, and although terribly sad, your cat effectively won the lottery in having you as it's owner, and when one thinks about it like that, it tends to sooth any melancholy thoughts. 1 1

Agreed. Lost my cat, Torrey, late last year. ? I always told him how lucky he was. Even after he put tooth holes in my cigar box lids. RIP to all the cats who once graced our lives. RIP Merlin. RIP Tigger. 1

El Hoze Posted January 28, 2019 Posted January 28, 2019 I have lost a mother and two of my very best friends, one of which was the best man at my wedding and my best friend since we were in kindergarten. Losing a pet is extremely difficult. Very sorry for your loss. We are lucky to have had them in our lives. 1 1
