Islandboy Posted October 11, 2020 Posted October 11, 2020 Been listening to live Bob Schneider lately, a uniquely talented dude.
PuroDiario Posted October 27, 2020 Posted October 27, 2020 A lot of Salsa lately, and hence a lot of Willie Colon: master of music on all fronts. If only HipHop fans understood that Salsa is the OG hiphop lyrically speaking to struggle, love, superation, city dwelling, etc. but all with proper instrumentation,...and if worldwide Jazz fans came to learn more about the genre beyond the intro to Narcos Netflix Show...Willie Colon master of the trombone! He deserves credit among the greatest like Don Lusher, Arthur Pryor on playing the instrument plus add on the lyrical skills and the fact that his commercial success would equate to rock start level these days. 1

Man D'olin Posted November 17, 2020 Posted November 17, 2020 Today we had a warm sunny afternoon is SoCal, so some Brazilian music hit the spot...the David Byrne compilation “Brazil Classics 1. Beleza Tropical” is a monster CD of some pivotal stuff. Tip of the hat to everyone’s musical suggestions- soothes the mind in these savage times.

Islandboy Posted January 9, 2021 Posted January 9, 2021 I was watching this collection of appearances by Eddie Van Halen on Letterman, found it interesting to see David enjoying a cigar right on the show all through the first set. 4
