ElJavi76 Posted July 8, 2019 Posted July 8, 2019 My cousin's 50th b-day party this weekend got me on a real 60s and 70s Spanish ballads kick. Camilo Sesto. Leonardo Favio (Second embedded video). José José. Nino Bravo (First embedded video) These videos are cheesy but these were the best vocalists of their time. Camilo Sesto might be my fav. I'm 43 next week and this music was much before my time but my mom and dad passed these musical treasures to me. I love nothing more than these playlists, a cigar, and mug of coffee in my garage. It's heaven on Earth!
Vortigan Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 Not nearly as "out there" as I'd been led to believe.I suppose I can see how it might have scared the bejesus out of some people back in 1969 though. 1
Akela3rd Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 I'm just doing odd jobs in the garden ( Cazadores on the go, natch) put my Spotify collection on random and have been treated to Motörhead, Ivor Cutler, Primal Scream, Patsy Cline, Kraftwerk, Throbbing Gristle, Jungle Rot, GBH, Leonard Cohen, Spiritualised, Ennio Morriconi, Shelley Parker, Camera Obscura and that's only the first hour...Sent from 47171 Lempo 1

Rabbi Posted March 11, 2020 Posted March 11, 2020 Sinatra, Cole, Martin, et al. (Watch the video to the end. The song shows him as an artist; after the song we see the working man.)
