JC67 Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 Thin Lizzy .... after watching the Eddie the Eagle movie i went back into the collection.. Phil Lynott was an awesome musician, singer songwriter. On live videos and recordings he never sings a bum note..
trike Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 Stevie Ray Vaughn - perfect when road biking Some crazy ass Zydeco too, off of Pandora.
BuzzArd Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 Will be listening to Band of Skulls tonight at Antone's in Austin.... Not familiar with them, but I'm told they're right up my alley... 2
TheLiquidGator Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 One of my favorite bands growing up. Booker, Trower and Wilson amazing together.
gweilgi Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 Aussie Classic -- the band, the song, and the topic! This stuff has lived on my iPod for the past 20 years, and it never gets old!
JohnS Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 George Harrison's 'Living in the Material World' and The Very Best of Badfinger. It's a tragic story as Badfinger were hugely talented guys.
ErikB Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 Getting into The Weakerthans. Reconstruction Site is greatVerzonden vanaf mijn iPhone met Tapatalk
avaldes Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 Been listening to a lot of Monster Magnet and Rob Zombie lately. Goes along with my background of Audioslave, Soundgarden, Metallica, Aerosmith, Marylin Manson, Fallout Boy...I have weird taste in music.
Dave O))) Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 Gareth Dickson - Collected Recordings Home recordings of acoustic guitar loaded with reverb and hushed vocals. Kinda like Nick Drake at three in the morning. Haunting and beautiful. 1
WillEd11 Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 If you're into southern rock (Allman's) or soul (Tedeschi Trucks Band)... I highly suggest giving the Marcus King Band a shot. They just released their second album and Warren Haynes produced it. It's an amazing effort and I can't wait to see them for the 1st time in a month in Dallas. Enjoy. 1
James4226c Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 Alexander Nevsky recorded in 1959 with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. One of the mics meant for the choir was accidentally positioned to just record the tuba. Best.Thing.Ever. 1
archosaur Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 From the Rolling Stones set last night at Desert Trip aka 'Oldchella'. Have never seen them before, but the old geezers can still rock.Looking forward to Neil Young and McCartney tonight! Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk 1
MIKA27 Posted October 26, 2016 Posted October 26, 2016 One of the greatest talents ever IMO - Billy Joel
