rodrigodeanda Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Not really listening because it's not out yet, just waiting patiently for the new Steven Wilson's album (out February '15)
Maplepie Posted November 30, 2014 Posted November 30, 2014 I miss music like this. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1417323672.338227.jpg do you just have the full album as an entire song in your library? I like the way you work! 1
Brah Posted November 30, 2014 Posted November 30, 2014 do you just have the full album as an entire song in your library? I like the way you work! When an album is this good there's no need to fast forward a track or two.
ebhead Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Smokin' some Partagas SDC #1 (98) with Frank and listening to some classic Cuban from Alejandro Ramirez Jourgensen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3yVjvQMVzSE E 1
moryc Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 I grew up on the rave scene (when they were still underground) and electronic music has stuck with me until now. I still go to the parties, however its drinks only for me. Of course I manage to light up a cigar inside and watch the security scramble to figure out who is smoking. They never catch me . I am enjoying mostly trance and house. This is one of my favorites, Above & Beyond, the video is from their show at Madison Square Gardens NYC, going to see them next Sunday as the tour stop in Toronto. The first track is just simply amazing.
JohnS Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Nirvana's Nevermind....aah, memories of my youth!
rodrigodeanda Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Can't get enough of this song. The album comes out in march, really looking forward to it!

TheLiquidGator Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 Still into the 70's Jazz tonight. I think this is exceptional. Listen for the jet taking off. This songs always brings me up. Especially with Bourbon and a fine cigar from Rob. 3

Especially with Bourbon and a fine cigar from Rob. Great album and sound, I need to dust off some his albums and fire up the turntable. Thanks for posting this up, some great jazz around those days. 1
TheLiquidGator Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 Some very early British Progressive Rock. Giles was quite a brilliant percussionist. Really mellow on vinyl of course.

smokenj Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 I listen to everything from metal to mid/late 90s hip hop to punch to lots of classic rock. This song got stuck in my head, and it's odd because it comes from one of my favorite actors. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=8abczyHk53w
headstand Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 Right this moment, early movements of Beethoven's 5th. Fittingly paired with an Esplendido.
Cigar Connoisseur Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 I secretly listen to this in the car when I'm by myself!...
Bill Hayes Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 I'm currently going through a mid-life crisis phase of music listening and have returned to a bit of old school stadium rock like Guns and Roses and Bon Jovi plus aussie rock like AC/DC and Angels plus a bit of metal like Sabbath and Iron Maiden. Maybe it's the Summer weather. If anyone can make any recommendations for songs that sit somewhere between 'Take a long line - Angels' and 'Run to the Hills' - Iron Maiden' it would be good. I'm running out of old school while my mood is up and about. I've even taken to downloading 'She's my Cherry Pie by Warrant' which really is the last straw. As Autumn and winter fall I reckon I'll return to Bowie and Joy Division. I can hear 'We can be heroes' blowing in the southerly breeze.
spicycorona Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 I recently revisited a song that contains the most mind blowing incredible impossible guitar I've ever heard. I haven't ruined it yet. But I will. Video and sound don't match, it was pieced together. 11:00 to 11:30 must hear https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tFZy4ot2O2g 1

I'm running out of old school while my mood is up and about. I A couple of songs that come to mind are RATT - The Morning After, and UFO - Lights Out. Vince Neil's Tattoos and Tequila is good fun, and maybe check some L.A. Guns. The Lone Rangers - Degenerated. The list goes on.........
Nedule Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Beck - Morning phase Yes, this is a really good album, despite what Kanye says. Super chill album, it's not one to get the party started but I've had it on repeat all week long. 1
