A la carte review: Punch Punch

I find Punch Punch to have a unique taste among Cubans. If someone were to ask me which cigar best exemplifies that “Cuban twang”, this is the cigar I’d recommend. It has a nice cedar and toasted nut base, with a wonderful molasses element that wafts in and out. But the aromatic spices are what makes it special for me. I get sandalwood, but I also get interesting spices that take me back to the streets of Suva as a child, where the aroma of the Indian food carts filled the air. One of the quintessential Cuban cigars IMO.

Never had one of these yet, but it’s on my list of cigars to try, I’m going to get a quarter box first before buying a whole box ?
