The Privateer Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Hey everyone! Just decided to jump in after lurking for a bit. I do most of my posting on ASC....any other ASCers here? I've been smoking for about 2 years but have already gone over the edge and then some in that very short time. Fave smokes are Cuaba, RG Lonsdales, Quinteros, Vegueros and most of the thin panatela-type cigars. I'm alos one of the few Singaporeans who actually goes out of my way to buy non-Cubans. :-) Hope to learn a whole lot just by hanging out here...looks like fun!

El Presidente Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Hey Privateer! Singapore is one of my favourite places. Lazy afternoons at the Singapore Cricket Club before heding out to dinner at Gordon's Grill and off to the Kabuki Club. I get there 3-4 times a year and would love to catch up with all our Singaporean menbers :-D

strayvector Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Welcome aboard, Privateer. What do you like when it comes to NCs?
The Privateer Posted January 14, 2006 Author Posted January 14, 2006 » Welcome aboard, Privateer. » » What do you like when it comes to NCs? Strayvector: I've only tried a limited number of NCs (not common here). Thus far I've found most CAOs to be good, GPECCs (great casual smoke), Montesino Sun-Grown and maybe La Gloria Cubana (not had many). Ashton VSGs and PAMs are good, with some age. Not to mention my fave Davidoff which is way to expensive mostly :-P Still have loads on the list to try as I have to mailorder them from the US. Most Singaporean smokers just refuse to touch a non-Cuban, for some strange (elitist) reason.
