Welcome to Cuba in Bangkok: Inside Havana Social, at the back end of Sukhumvit Soi 11, a once-famous party strip that has matured a bit thanks to age and government regulations, the walls are crumbling, the lights are dim, and the salsa band is in full force. Delicious light and dark rums star in classic and innovative cocktails; if rum isn't your thing, there are a few imported craft beers and a pretty outstanding Sazerac. Climb a flight of faux-crumbling stairs to a second-floor wonderland where Cuban cigars are legal and where Cuban sandwiches come piled with thick cuts of ham and gooey cheese.
