Looks delicious-  I just recently broke in my smoker and have tried a ham.  I think drumsticks will be next.  Do you just lay them on their sides or prop them up?

I like this guys channel so I did it as he says.

they standup though.

The accent gave it away, but the braising a dozen drumsticks in a melted stick of butter just screamed Mississippi.  It's a shame they can't play football as half as good as they can grill meat.  Glad you posted his video- I think I'm going to binge watch his videos.  There's a culinary French term for how he dresses the drumstick but I can't recall what it is.  I'm going to try it for tryin's sake, but I think ultimately I'll just leave the drumsticks au naturale.  I spend life half focused on the task at hand and half on what my 18 month old boy is getting into.  He doesn't allow me to devote a high level of focus on anything.

Yeah, but we never lost a party.  I love my Rebels win or lose.  More than I can say for the typical bammer.

Most bammers take the silly stickers, magnets, and those ridiculous flags off their red clay mud covered '82 Datsun's and '68 single wide's with tin foil in the windows when they lose a game, which luckily for them, is a very rare occurrence the last few years.  Saves them from having to go back to Wal Mart after the next win to buy replacement t-shirts, stickers, and 409 cleaner and a paper towel to clean off a spot to put them back on.

HOTTY DAMN TODDY!

Come back with your best shot, but I've said all I have to say, except GOOOO SOONERS!

This guy is the man! I think he's smoked everything under the sun by now. Definitely a good resource for the backyard cook.

Have a tri-tip with a dry rub in the frig - will put it in the Weber tomrrrow. Going to try a reverse sear, reading about it and sounds great. Anyone else tried a reverse sear?

Great pic of those drumsticks!

If you don't like them laying down or touching the grill, just buy a drumstick holder stand from Amazon.

Can also do the lollipop style with the thigh included.  Cut out the thigh bone and you get a very meaty piece of chicken.

Beautiful, guys!

Confession. When I sit beside a vegan or fussy talker about that stuff I make all kinds of crazy comments like saying I am ordering three steaks with 4 servings of melted fat, and triple GLUTEN on the bread please.

A mate took me to a burger place today. He ordered the ‘fake’ burger, and tried to get me to do the same. I demurred.

He kept wittering on about ‘heme’, whatever that is. I made some witty rejoinder about vowel substitution.

Long story short, he didn’t finish it.

I think chicken thighs are unfortunately underrated- best piece in my opinion.  Most flavorful and moist- no matter how they're prepared.

Tough day at work. One of those days that have issues which are completely out of your control, but effect the quality of service you can provide.

So...to focus the frustration I grabbed beef ribs on the way home. I’m doing them for the family Xmas dinner and wanted to practice anyway.

4.5hrs at 240F. Wrapped one rack in foil, the other in pink butcher paper. Will do foil only next time. They were more tender. oak/hickory and apple blend wood.

Beef ribs are my absolute favorite bbq. They look awesome, nicely done.
