prodigy Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 I wouldn't say I "lost" these cigars, but I definitely didn't realize where they were hiding. I tend to keep my "rare" stuff in it's own desktop. These were all found hiding in misc boxes or in the very bottom of my "every day" desktop humidor. Nice to put them back where they belong, and hopefully smoke some soon. Anyone else find something they forgot they even had? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk 4

I'm barely 2 years into this hobby. I can't imagine what I'll "lose" and find again years from now. I should start hiding things intentionally to make little Easter egg time capsules for the future haha. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk 1
Fuzz Posted December 12, 2018 Posted December 12, 2018 I keep finding things I've "lost". When your singles humidor is a 30L tupperdor, you always find something you forgot about. 1
nKostyan Posted December 12, 2018 Posted December 12, 2018 I love unexpectedly finding in the depths of the humidor or lock-lock box cigars, which I had forgotten. I like surprises. 1
cigcars Posted December 12, 2018 Posted December 12, 2018 *My sister found a humidor - small 25ct.- that I had either acquired for free somewhere, or bought and totally forgot about (which is HIGHLY bloody unlikely). Its lid is a painted picture of dogs doing human things like smoking, reading, etc. And I'm totally at a loss as to where, when, and how I acquired it!! 1
RijkdeGooier Posted December 12, 2018 Posted December 12, 2018 As I tend to put away my annual purchases for around 5 years, the annual harvest from my storage is always a nice event that brings some surprises besides the expected regulars. Already looking forward to my January 2019 harvest of 2013 boxes.

I wish I could forecast the future and tell which cigars are best in how many years...long term too, maybe 15-20 years. Oh well, part of the game I suppose. 1

Thx but in reality it all depends on your taste. As I prefer a more distinct marca profile in my cigars, it is imperative to let the sharper taste of young tobacco fade into the background.
zyxwvu44 Posted December 12, 2018 Posted December 12, 2018 I can only hope to get to the stage of losing some nice cigars only to find them later 2
