Thanksgiving dinner is barely settling, and stores here in my neck of the woods are already opening for black Friday. There are tons of good deals abound, but the crowds of people and the hassle that brings is just a pain in the butt to me.  Luckily I get to stay home and chill with the kiddos while the Mrs goes out shopping with her friend.

Anyone out there braving the mad dash and going shopping tonight or tomorrow?

Yes, black Friday shopping via my office PC.

A few places mark up their goods and try peddling bargains and percentages off the marked price such as Levis.

A few places, I've managed to grab some good bargains for my sons Christmas presents.

Happy shopping.

Bought two Samsung Tab S4 tablets. Wasn't planning on buying, but my mom's old tablet needs replacing, and I'm sick and tired of my iPad mini (it was free, so I tolerated it).

Nearly pulled the trigger on a Dell XPS 13 as well, but my old man said he didn't really need a laptop upgrade.

REI in the US closes on Black Friday and gives all of their employees a paid day off to do something outside.  I very much support that,  I will be skiing with my kids tomorrow.

That is an awesome policy and I definitely think more companies should do that.  The business I'm in is open every day except Christmas day and it's a real bummer lol. Enjoy your day skiing!

Haha mine too. Except my business is open 24/7 365. But then again, hospitals probably shouldn’t close :P

Kentucky has so many of the good bourbons, store picks and all, at way cheaper prices than where I'm from. We've entered 8 pappy lotteries and snagged some good sales along the way. Find out tomorrow morning if we win.

I write this sat on a bench in Macy's. I am holding loads of clothes for my Mrs, who is hunting for more bargains.

This is enough to turn me socialist!
