Cuban sandwich

I’m in the states..sometimes can find a “Cuban” sandwich.  What are your favorite make at home Cuban recipes?  

 

P.s. after the fact...may have had one too many plantation rums..just hungry

Cuban Sandwich. 

It just works.........

 

The sandwich is made with ham, roasted pork, Swiss cheese, pickles, mustard, and sometimes salami on Cuban bread.

My absolute favorite sandwich, next to a lobster roll or bbq brisket sandwich. But the best one i've had? Miami. Maybe i found all the wrong places in Cuba...but wow, i've had some AMAZING cuban sandwiches in Miami.

I had one in Miami that was just outstanding, I've had others that were not nearly as good. Wish I could remember the name of the place, it was in around 2011 and right around the corner of a hotel named chesterfield (between 8th and 9th if I can recall correctly).

Latin 2000 makes a solid Cuban Sandwich and is close to the Miami Airport on Le June road. Many traditional Spanish dishes around $10 as well. John

Had a seriously delicious Cuban sandwich at Crux Brewery in Bend, Oregon several years back. One of the 10 most memorable things I’ve eaten.

I've never made one, but a local sub shop here in Kansas City makes a really good one on a homemade bread.
