Jack
I picked this up because I liked how it looked and it didn't appear to have been damaged during its life. Some scratches and oddly a lot of candle wax. It has three small bottles with adjustable lids to act as the hydration device. I was going to fill them with a water/propylene glycol solution and see how it goes. At the same time I'm wondering what the actual instructions that came with this box said to do. Anyone know what the small Dunhill instruction book titled "Cigar humidifier Instructions for Use" says?
Georgebrightman
Regardless of what mix you fill the vials with, the top opening ( of the tubes ) isn't sufficient to allow proper evap, and therefore never able to provide real RH beyond the low 60s. Also, side placement means uneven distribution of what little humidification you are getting! Use Boveda packs and rest easy, since you have landed a nicely made humidor, despite having 90s era tech. BTW, don't trust the analog guage either. Hope this helpsSent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
Jack
I should have been more clear. I'm only looking for a copy of the instructions. This humidor is more of an experiment than anything else.
BJRPorter
I have two Dunhill with the same humidification system, but no written instructions. I would be curious to see the instructions also.
