FatherOfPugs
Soooooo......with all this ring gauge talk, I though I would take a look at what is currently in my collection and break it down into percentages as to what I'm smoking/collecting for ring gauges. What am I actually doing with my collection? Good to check in on now and again. Here is how my cigar collection breaks down, simply # of sticks of a certain ring gauge/overall number of cigars in collection. 42 - 19.65% 43 - 1.72% 44 - 2.38% 47 - 8.16% 48 - 13.00% 49 - 2.80% 50 - 16.26% 52 - 19.32% 54 - 12.58% 55 - 4.13% I thought I had some 40 RGs but I do not, 42 is the lowest RG in my collection. Interesting to take a look at, also good for inventory purposes. I know in the past we've had the what do you prefer threads and why, but I though it might be fun to see breakdowns of what's in others' collections.
Derboesekoenig
Oooooooh I love this! I'm gonna go do it now as well. I'll try percentage of 50+ and percentage of <50 RG
Booyaa
No idea, but would guess a higher percentage in the 48+ categories.
Derboesekoenig
Ok here we go! Under 50 RG controls 30.2% of the population; 50+ RG = 69.8% Total count: 3,131 VIPs: 40 RG- 6.6% 42 RG- 18.2% 48 RG- 8.6% 49 RG- 14.2% 50 RG- 13% 52 RG- 9.3% 54 RG- 5.4% Total % of top 7 - 75.3% Included RGs- 30, 32, 33, 38, 40, 42, 43, 44, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50, 52, 54, 55, 56, 57 Interestingly, 50 and over contains only 6 RGs, whereas under 50 includes 12 different RGs. I knew that I had a majority of 50+, but I honestly had no idea it was near 70% of my total. I was thinking I was about 50/50. Yikes

Nope, and a good portion is in my online humidor here. I'm working overseas currently. I've trained my dad to take care of my stock though. In return, I'll recommend sticks to smoke, but he does so sparingly. All in good time sir! Permanent move back stateside will be sometime in 2019. I keep records of everything in spreadsheet form and update as needed. I wish I could find the dude on here that has the most massive personal collection I've ever seen photographed. Think bunkers and warehouse FULL. Boxes, cabs, jars, books, humidors, rare, vintage, etc. and 1000x of everything. Can't recall his username, but he was from somewhere in Europe...

khenry0105
I have some variety, but sizes seem to be focused in three main areas - PCs, Robustos and Pyramids.
fabes
Currently sitting at 87% of my stash being under 50rg with no plans to change. I do enjoy some cigars at/above 50rg, but for the most part I do not enjoy how larger ring gauge cigars burn or the rate of smoking to keep them burning well.

fitzy
The only thing I have bigger than 50rg is half a box of Petit Edmundo's. Also I don't know exact percentages but I'd say 75% is 45 or less.
JohnS
Here's mine... 29 rg - 1.7% 30 rg - 1.2% 32 rg - 1.4% 33 rg - 2.1% 38 rg - 4.9% 39 rg - 0.1% 40 rg - 10.3% 42 rg - 22.6% 43 rg - 0.1% 44 rg - 2.9% 46 rg - 6.5% 47 rg - 5.5% 48 rg - 5% 49 rg - 3.3% 50 rg - 9.2% 52 rg - 15.6% 53 rg - 0.1% 54 rg - 3.6% 55 rg - 0.2% 56 rg - 2.3% 58 rg - 0.4%. MrGlass
I'll play. Some of the totals listed here include some approximations, but they're close enough for the purpose of the exercise. IanMcLean68
Ok I'll play too. Here's mine, boxes only, not including singles ... 33 - 4.7% 38 - 4.7% 42 - 35.5% 43 - 4.7% 46 - 12.3% 47 - 4.7% 49 - 4.7% 50 - 12.8% 52 - 14% 54 - 1.9% 71.3% below 50g. Definitely more 42g than anything else. 52g is only where it is at because of piramides.
NSXCIGAR
HSA has really pushed a lot of good sticks into the 52 RG. Not being a large RG fan I'm surprised how I've adapted to 52. I'm OK with it, but it's my upper limit. At 53 I start to notice it. With Piramides and Campanas also technically at 52 and cigars like the Connie A, Edmundos, HURR and PSE2 all at 52 I'm surprised 52 is as far behind as it is in the above humidors.

Derboesekoenig
Yes ok I stand corrected. cigar.land/gallery I would be humbled just to see his collection. I think many people were envious and bashed him on several forums. Go figure. Just an amazing collection. Good job sir!
