Hello everyone, first post, so new to FOH. Name is Barry and glad to be a part of what goes on here. Read a previous post on this but there were not too many responses. I have noticed that many of my cigars wrappers tend to get lighter with age. This seems to be most prominent with my montes. 2's 4's and petit 2's. Masters seem to hold there own. Keep at 65/65. Is this a common phenomenon?  All boxes have 2 to 3yrs on them. Thanks much

Are you sure it isn't lighting? In my 30 years or so of cigar smoking, I have not encountered this issue.

I've experienced the opposite. I have 3-4 year old boxes of JL2s, Connie 1s and RyJ Ex4s that have definitely got darker with age. Only these three cigars though, I've not noticed a change with any of my others.

I could see them getting lighter if exposed to light but these stay in jar. Here is another from same jar that appears to be going through dark to light change.
