It’s not the most glamorous or the most lucrative, but the perks of chimney work in Alaska can’t be beat. I did a woodstove install that ran late today and got to watch the sunset over the inlet from the roof of a house high up on a hill. Can’t beat it. Life is good.

Thanks for sharing! ? gorgeous my friend. My dad just recently visited Alaska. When he came back he said, “ I thought bald eagles were going extinct, but they’re like pigeons up in Alaska- they’re everywhere!”

Yeah bald eagles suck. Thieving bully bastards. Hard working, honest ospreys put in all that hard work to catch a fish and some baldy just comes and punks them for it. 

Alaska is awesome, dude. 

I’m working like a dog, but I’ll hopefully get some free time soon. Found out recently that I can get a nonresident (not eligible for resident license til next fall) hunting license for small game only, for only $60. Hope to be breakin out the 12 soon and gettin my freezer loaded up with snowshoe hare and ptarmigan. I’ll be sure to update on that ?

Where do you live? I live in the Russian River AVA of California Wine Country.
