Popular Post El Presidente Posted August 8, 2018 Popular Post Posted August 8, 2018 They would be a best seller I am not sure there is a better wrapper than this. Pure rosado gold. 7
mike74 Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 Love to try a really good one. Had one the other day and might as well have smoked a tea bag.
filltang Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 Have a box (Distinguidos) from last month’s 24:24 still resting. Soon enough, I’ll be able to try one of these peanut bombs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Derboesekoenig Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 Usually whenever I've opened Cuabas, they look like crap. And recently, I've seen plenty of boxes hanging out at the duty free from 2007, 2010, 2012. But disappointed when I open them. So I've kinda given up
Lotusguy Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 Still doesn’t mean construction is any good and that’s where they let me down mostly.

They were in this case. Underfilling in both the Partagas and Cuaba salomones has been rife. finding good boxes isn't easy. And then there are the yellow or green wrappers. Crap. it is like navigating a minefield.
oliverdst Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 Double figurados should be rolled just by 9 degree torcedores. Way to easy to be underfilled or tight. 1

NSXCIGAR Posted August 9, 2018 Posted August 9, 2018 Been very happy with all the Distinguidos I've had from 17. I'd still want to have them checked out, but once they're cleared one should not be disappointed with flavor or construction. Had entire boxes with spot on burning and draws which is a virtual miracle for any cigar, let alone these. 1
Chompers79 Posted August 9, 2018 Posted August 9, 2018 I'm more than happy with the Divinos (EML June 15) and the Distinguidos (LGR Dec 17) I've bought recently.

I've had a few Cuaba, but they've always had some time on them (2-5 yrs).
BellevilleMXZ Posted August 15, 2018 Posted August 15, 2018 Had a GREAT one in Cuba last week, from a great looking box....should have bought, but can only bring back so much....?

Not in my experience. I have enjoyed them since 98 with usually very little age. I've been hearing some less than positive things about the Tradicionales and the Exclusivos for the last several years but the Divinos seem to always be on and I have personally enjoyed all the Distinguidos I've had in the last 2 years. Have another box arriving this week. If you can get a good price on them Distinguidos are a great value. I'd put them up there with the other cigars in that price range like the Connie A, PSE2, Mag 54, Monte 2 & Especiales, HdM SJ and Trini Vigia--although I do have a soft spot for the Connie A. The majority of what I've had regularly score 93/94 points for me which is about as good as one can hope for on a regular basis.
BrightonCorgi Posted August 15, 2018 Posted August 15, 2018 One of my favorite marcas when well made. Most boxes I guess I have just been luck on. The Diademas are hard to find.

I've been chronically late to the 24:24 for about a year now (work and family). Might have to punt from another vendor.
