I bet this has been asked before but I'm looking for recommendations. I might end up saving some money in the end as half the time I smoke a cigar, I can think of another better one for the same price...

Punch Double Corona is my all time favorite...really all Double Coronas to me seem to really bring out the potential in cuban tobacco...have had stellar Lusis, Hoyos, and VRs...I'd rank RA gigantes at the end of the line

Hi @fundadores

You're going to get many different replies on this thread as taste is so individual.
If you're new to CC then I suggest to get a sampler and taste away - there's also going to be variables like storage conditions, age, what you've eaten and drank beforehand and mood which influences the tasting at that time!

It's hard for me to call out a favourite, although I generally prefer skinny vitolas I find an aged Siglo VI close to being the top spot.

@mbflash80 MB - you remind me I need to sample the Punch DC I have soon! !

One cigar is near impossible to say as different cigars are the best cigar at that time for different reasons.  Do you want the best cigar ever that you are unlikely to ever be able to buy listed?  Doesn't do much good if can't buy one...

Just for the sake adding something to the list:  LGC MdO 1&2

Not been smoking these things long enough to give a definitive answer, but I am burning through a box of RASS at record pace right now.  It is the perfect length for just the right amount of time, and those stewed fruit flavor get me every time.

I've tried few from 2002 box but they had a too tight draw. The other box I tried from(don't know the year) had OK draw but they didn't surprise me too much but I could say strong and complex is a good description, and a loong smoke?

Cohibas Talisman. Just kidding. Because of the variability of Cuban cigar production it’s hard to say that one cigar from one year is just like the same cigar from another year. Pick a size you like, say robustos, and get a few from each marca, that’s brand in cigar forum speak.  You’ll start to get a handle on what you like. have fun.

Could not pick one as there are so many variables. You will likely have almost everything named by the end.

Choix Supreme or Monte 4.

Perfect sizes for any occasion.

The best bang for buck to remind you of the differences between elegant Cuban leaf and NC leaf.

Trinidad Fundadores - the only issue is that they benefit greatly from a long nap, so you have to bury them for a while.

I already got some good ideas. I guess I should have put the title Cigars instear of Cigar. So few different favourites would be great. Makes me wonder, did Churchill smoke only churchills?
