Rhino Posted July 11, 2018 Posted July 11, 2018 So I decided to break out an 155th Partagas Anniversio (sp?) 109 as my cigarbof choice on July 4th. It had been in my humidor for a few years so it had some nicks on the foot. Pre-light it had a good draw and a traditional Partagas flavoring. Upon lighting it was a clean burn and good line. Crispy is how I would characterize the first stages of this cigar. Just burned tobacco and slight flavor. Not bad but a really muted taste. I’ve experienced this in older cigars before so was prepared for it. After about an inch it blossomed up into a very refined Partagas profile of nuts, and that typical leathery goodness. It kept going from that point forward until the end of it. I thoroughly enjoyed this cigar as well as the company I had around me. I was really scared that this was going to be a disappointment but it delivered in spades. Glad I took the chance on this and burned it when I did. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2
