Popular Post Connoisseur Kim
Had my fav Belgian beer Duvel 2 days ago. I haven't buy it since about 6-7 years ago, as it's difficult to source. Classic fruity; bitter chocolate; floral; citrus; tangy; full strength ale beer. Along with Hefeweizen (Erdinger, Weihenstephan, Paulaner) it's one of my staple ale beers for sure!

Popular Post SigmundChurchill
It was Ollie’s 2nd birthday, so he ate a double cheeseburger for breakfast, and steak for lunch and dinner, with a few other treats in between. My daughters made the poor guy wear that hat and bandana all day long. It was funny watching him in his food coma, refusing to get up to go for a walk. 18
Popular Post Lomey
1k lbs? It's that heavy?Yes. It has an insulated firebox and quarter inch steel on the smoke chamber. You can see how thick the firebox is in the picture. Moves around with ease though. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk 8

Popular Post Bill Hayes
There was some easing of restrictions in Melbourne with gatherings allowed with fewer than 20 people outdoors. So, it was great to catch up with mates, eat BBQ and my special pot of slow cooked chilli and watch the horse races on the TV. A good mate even celebrated by coming as 'Elvis'. Yes, his nickname is 'King'.

I am not fan of the heavy beers in the US like Dogfish Head, etc... I am more the Session Ale, or New England IPA styles. If you are ever in Boston, you're welcome to take your pick to drink!

New England Hazy IPA is a particular style known to this region of the US. Lots of citrus like tangerine tastes and with a refreshing edge. A beer in brewed in VT called Heady Topper has people paying up to 10x the sale price for the beer. Same style. https://punchdrink.com/articles/whats-in-hazy-ipa-beer-anyway-new-england-style-neipa/ There is a large brewery near walking distance to my home (Jack's Abbey) that is a larger specialist. They do a lot of beer in fine wooden barrels like it's wine! I am not a big beer guy either, but do support our local breweries as much as possible.

Thanks to growth of micro breweries, IPA and Pale Ale gaining popularity (there are micro breweries in Seoul). Hope that I can visit Bostons and have a lots of ale beers XD!나의 SM-N950N 의 Tapatalk에서 보냄
Popular Post Connoisseur Kim
More German wheat beer time! In the mall, four cans of beer are cheaper than these of convenience stores. Classic banana and clove; wheaty; bitter chocolate; twang; fruity, full bodied and aromatic German wheat beer. German wheat beer is always one of my goto ale beers for sure!

Yes, same coloring. Hard not to love them. He is the only one left in the house that comes running to greet me at the door. He is actually 50 pounds, so not small, but not big either. He usually has long hair around his head and face, sort of like a sheep dog. This was my first attempt at dog grooming.

Connoisseur Kim
Recent booze collections for last 2 days. Leffe Blonde is full of sugar and corn; vanilla and cream; toffee and resin; barley and milk chocolate with fuller body and strength. It's not earth shattering ale beer (prefer Duvel over this Ale), but one of good Belgian Golden Ale/Abbey Ale for beginners and beer aficionados. It also provided me some clues about how would PLPC taste like. It deserves to be in my Ale rotation for sure! Guinness Original is my first Porter/Stout beer. This Stout tastes like mixture of JL, Party, and Monte cigars, but more sparkling and lighter strength. I never had Guinness Draught before, but it's quite disappointing stout, as I can notice it's dumbed down and lighter version of Guinness Draught (saw comparison between Guinness Original and Draught before drinking it). I'll buy Guinness Draught for comparison, but I just stick with one of my staple beers Dunkelweizen like Erdinger Dunkel for now.
