Went for a morning walk at a newly opened park near my apartment. Hard to tell you are in an urban environment except for the buildings peeping over the top.

As if they weren’t enough shopping malls in Singapore, Changi Airport has decided to open one next to the Arrivals Hall in Terminal 1. It’s called Jewel and everyone and their dog has been flocking to take pictures of it’s centerpiece - an indoor waterfall. Was at T1 to pick up the missus last night, so here’s my pic ?

Forgot to post this earlier (but did in another thread). Some of the Sydney boys got together at my place for State of Origin game 1. Though the Blues lost (Maroons were too good in the 2nd half), I call it a win for the night. Got down to about 9C outside, but with the blinds down and the heaters on, it was very comfortable. Don't know why the guys thought jumpers and jackets were necessary (I was in my polo shirt).

Still need to work on a few things for the patio (outdoor kitchen, sound system, maybe an arcade machine) before I will say it is finished.

Carly (Luca's gf) was very gracious in accepting the win for Qld.

We've had the craziest week of weather in Chicago. Tuesday night lightning, followed by 3 straight days of the thickest fog I've ever seen, including in San Francisco. I made a timelapse from the Hancock over sunset here. Summer hasn't quite made it here yet but I aint complaining.

Went to Ohio State reformitory last week. Built in like 1880-90. Looks more like a castle than a prison. Guess that was the style of architecture at the time. Not so nice on inside though.
