Popular Post Connoisseur Kim
I went to the Charles Barbershop at Hongdae which is one of the top notch legendary old school barbershops in Korea yesterday. He was not only used scissors and shears exclusively to cut my hair (clippers for removing some stray hairs only) but also rinsed my hair thoroughly with a scalp scaling shampoo. He offered free face lotions service too and told me how to style a classic side part properly while styling my hair with extra care. Besides, its barber chair was so classy and comofortable that made me feel even more relaxing . Although Charles Barbershop was quite far from my house (took approximately a hour to reach there by underground/subway), it was out of this world and legitmate 1hr+ OG barbershop experience indeed 👍. For those who are staying in Korea and planning to travel to Korea, I highly recommend you to pay a visit this wonderful old school barbershop if you have a chance 🙂 11

Since he had a 54-year experience as a skilled barber and cut many famous people's hair including politicians too, I could count on him with huge confidence👍. Although the price is quite steep [approx. ₩66000 ($47)] and I have to make a reservation by phone at least one month before, I'll definitely keep visiting this wonderful old school barbershop for my haircut as it's light years better than other barbershops that I went to in the past 😊

Popular Post Connoisseur Kim
Since Yoon Sukyeol rose to the power, my country keeps going south with consecutive tragic disasters like Seoul Halloween crowd crush due to his poor governance. Even worse, he didn't even do a proper public apology and instead, he decided to blame others including victims for Seoul Halloween crowd crush, which made me more upset. So, I and my mum went to Candlelight protest against Yoon Sukyeol and Kim Keonhee yesterday. Despite the distance (took more than a hour as I got lost in Noryangjin Station) and cold weather, I felt glad that I took part in peaceful Candlelight Vigil since many people joined there in the cause of justice regardless of age and gender. I'm definitely participating in the next Candlelight protests for sure! Note. Unable to take many pics because my phone was almost ran out battery 22
Popular Post SigmundChurchill
Took the wife to see Billy Joel at Madison Square Garden tonight. He plays there one night every month, so I try to catch one every couple of years. He puts on a great show.

I wonder if he brought it out for his song, "Matter of Trust" ?

Matter of Trust, at the beginning opener of the show, and then towards the end of the show he played it for We Didn’t Start The Fire. @JohnS I made it into a Youtube for you. 6
Popular Post jakebarnes
Turkey on the smoker today. Turned out BEAUTIFULLY. But the real star might have been the truffle mac and cheese. Plus, I got in the festive spirit (after...some festive spirits We made the Aviary Fulton Punch) after dinner. Happy Thanksgiving all. 13

Popular Post Hypersomniac
This is the first Thanksgiving that has just been me, my wife, and my boys; so it is the first time without a big spread. We still ate well though. I didn't get pictures of brunch, but we had croissant french toast with a vanilla sauce and raspberry compote; scrambled eggs, and bacon. For a snack, I had an RG 88. For dinner it was Cornish game hens with a bourbon cream sauce, cornbread stuffing, maple glazed carrots, and mini pumpkin cheesecakes. I also had a whiskey sour.

Popular Post VictorEremita
Been sampling some AF cigars for the first time. Just had a maduro, the Gran Reserva Flor Fina 8-5-8. AF are not for me thus far. They've been so boring: not bad, not good, not anything. 😕 Anyway, happy American Thanksgiving!

I have seen him live in his younger days, and yes, he is not what he was back then, but if you take the show at face value without trying to compare, it is an amazing show. My wife’s friend that was with us that night is dating one of the guys in the band. She said they were going to Australia some time soon. I definitely recommend giving him another try.
