Popular Post Lomey
How is it to grow onions? Wife wants to do so next season. Do you have a separate area in your garden or grow them in buckets? We do the same with broiling and blending like you do. We end up vacuum sealing & freezing two cup bags for use over the year. One of the easiest things to grow. Just stick your finger into the ground about an inch or 2 and drop in an onion set and cover with dirt. I put them about every 5 or 6 inches apart. I plant mid March here in KC. They do like to be fertilized.I line 3 of my raised beds with them. Half red and half white. They don't take up any room. I've attached one of the beds for you to see. This is growth by mid May. I usually start harvesting July and leave them in the ground until September just going out and pulling one when needed. I pull the rest of them in September, dry out and keep in my sub-basement. Highly recommended. Good luck.Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk 10

Popular Post El Presidente
This weeks Sunday morning companion It was good without being outstanding. ERDM Petit Cayo Regional, 4 1/3 x 52 Interestingly, the retrohale was far more enjoyable than the normal palate draw. the retrohale introduced a firm white pepper cinamon sting that made you go "yeah baby". to me when you are making cigars of this small size....they need to make a statement out of the gate and then don't stop swinging. There is no time for a "journey". 87 40 Minutes. 11

I'd like to get something for this season.

I have used it in my Weber Kettle, offset smoker, gas grill, but I use it mostly in my Masterbuilt 40. Any thing that closes with a lid or door will work honestly. To cold smoke you need to keep the temp under 90 degrees F so I use no heat source with any of the grills/smokers other than the small amount of pellets that create the "cold smoke". Just get one end lit really good and make sure it gets some oxygen and you are good to go. I find cold smoking turns out better bacon than hot smoking. It cooks up better, more crisp. Let me know if you have any other questions on the whole process. 1

Popular Post Meklown
Brought the dog out to the park for a picnic yesterday (Oct 1 is China's national day and hence public holiday in HK), where he ran around like crazy for a few hours and I had a nice media Luna when there was fewer people. Stayed till the sun went down.

I also make fresh mozzarella every week and that would be fun to have a smoked one too.
