I can't bring myself to spend the crazy big bucks on a "weatherproof" TV since I'll be crazy pissed off when it inevitably fails. Wife Ok'd mounting a TV on the wall of the house but I think that would look like crap which is certainly a weird turn of events. I've got my 48" garage tv with a wireless cable box that I can plop out there on a table whenever I want. The TV on a stand with wheels with wifi box is a good solution. I did that for a year. I mounted my indoor 55 Walmart Black Friday tv on my porch outside recently though. It’s been up a month and has yet to fail. I’m “making money” but it is very sheltered. I’m trying to wait a year if I can in the hopes the outdoor tv prices fall. Soon though they will only be a few boxes of Cubans anyway. issue I’m having is brightness. Tv is in full shade so ok but the outdoor tvs are really just brighter. Will let you know if temps are an issue later. Enjoy that outdoor space. Will come in handy for sure. 1 1

I’ve been looking at those stands with a shelf for the box. Also contemplating a permanent mount with a quick release to make it easy to move in and out.
Popular Post Nevrknow Posted August 29, 2021 Popular Post Posted August 29, 2021 Woke up to a trickle of water going across the garage. ?? WTH?? CPVC transition above the expansion tank. Cheap quick and easy fix. 👍🏻 Notice the new white pipe? 😂 30 minutes later and WHEW! It’s Miller time! 10 1

Its in our storage room now waiting for March madness when I may have 2 tvs on the porch. A bit less than $100 for one w a wide base - need to be ready for a breeze with a sail of a tv. 1

Frozen North Posted September 6, 2021 Posted September 6, 2021 DAMMIT, those salmon would be delicious 🤤
Popular Post Connoisseur Kim Posted September 6, 2021 Popular Post Posted September 6, 2021 At last, Ralf Aust Carbon Steel 6/8" Spanish Point Straight Razor with Rosewood Scales arrived to my house today. It's absolutely cool and classy with the oomph of its carbon Steel 6/8" Spanish point blade. My Korean FOH BOTLs also told me it's definitely heirloom grade German straight razor for sure. Can't wait to use it for beard trimming and prepare myself to focus on FOH 24:24 CCs once again 😃! One bad news is I requested to add jimps (serrated edge to prevent SR being slipped from fingers) and engraved spine when I ordered that straight razor from Ralf Aust, but I noticed he forgot to add an engraved spine option. So, I requested a partial refund for engraved spine to him via Paypal and hope that I'll get partial refund in someday. Update: I just got an notification email from Paypal that I'm eligible for partial refund from Ralf Aust 😄. 8

Though, for a second, I thought you were going to shave with this blade. Much agreed @Fuzz! I just used this SR for beard trimming and it did its job extraordinary well especially lining up my beard although I got some nicks on my face 😃. I should set Sweeney Todd as a second nickname as well 😄 Note. A blade on the first picture is the freebie fruit/cheese/beef/fish knife made by Aust, which I didn't expect at all 1
Connoisseur Kim Posted September 7, 2021 Posted September 7, 2021 I got a first Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine jab today. Surprisingly, it wasn't painful at all compare to straight razor nicks and cuts that could be real pain in the butt. The resumption of Kimfessions Series is almost drawing near and CCE from @Habana Mike's CC gift will be reviewed in the next Kimfessions Series (date is TBD) 😄 In Korea, a digital COVID-19 vaccine certificate like a picture below will be issued on a smartphone app called COOV along with a paper certificate if you get a COVID-19 vaccine. 3

Popular Post GVan Posted September 12, 2021 Popular Post Posted September 12, 2021 The wife and I were visiting (and babysitting) our grandchildren over the Labor Day holiday in Maryland while their parents were attending a wedding. Our Son-in-law always wanted a fire pit in the backyard. We had previously discussed where he wanted it so .... I decided that a weekend project was in order. Wow, was he surprised when they came home from the wedding - we used it every night with the grandchildren roasting marshmallows over the fire! Of course, I had to christen the fire pit with a Boli PC. If you look closely, you'll see an orange chalk line drawn around the fire pit - this was my youngest grandchild's idea of a "safety line" or a "do not cross line" when grandpa was building the fire pit -- pretty funny -- I loved it! 15

Everything is from the garden except for the lime. My wife made homemade chips to go with it. Turned out great! How is it to grow onions? Wife wants to do so next season. Do you have a separate area in your garden or grow them in buckets? We do the same with broiling and blending like you do. We end up vacuum sealing & freezing two cup bags for use over the year. 1

We end up vacuum sealing & freezing two cup bags for use over the year. One of the easiest things to grow. Just stick your finger into the ground about an inch or 2 and drop in an onion set and cover with dirt. I put them about every 5 or 6 inches apart. I plant mid March here in KC. They do like to be fertilized.I line 3 of my raised beds with them. Half red and half white. They don't take up any room. I've attached one of the beds for you to see. This is growth by mid May. I usually start harvesting July and leave them in the ground until September just going out and pulling one when needed. I pull the rest of them in September, dry out and keep in my sub-basement. Highly recommended. Good luck.Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk 10 1
