Lotusguy Posted May 25, 2018 Posted May 25, 2018 Didn’t the OP ask for >50RG which would exclude all Robustos and Hermosos #4?

But when all are at their best, the BCJ is a very special cigar that is a cut above, at least if you like the Boli profile. 'Cut above' may be debatable, but for me, I tend to agree. The CJ certainly is not trying to be everybody's darling. (sorry for another OT )
Lotusguy Posted May 26, 2018 Posted May 26, 2018 Pretty sure that BCJ and BPC would be excluded regardless - that was my point 1
JohnS Posted May 27, 2018 Posted May 27, 2018 No problem, from here on in, we can add Bolivar Petit Corona vs Bolivar Corona Junior discussion to the thread below... 1

No, but Boli as a marca has never been everyone's darling, even though I feel that, as MRN did, that it was the best overall marca at one time. This is coming from someone who's favorite cigar hands down was the BRC until 2000. Now I might smoke one per year. 1
canadianbeaver Posted May 27, 2018 Posted May 27, 2018 New Trinidads are big and bold brother! Interesting point I would like to add, though might be a “BGO*” as a boss of mine a couple of decades back used to call it. * Blinding Glimpse of the Obvious: I own a coffee company. Folks in this business differentiate between strong and bold. Strong is how much stuff you put in the water. Bold is the flavour out of the beans. So strong cigar/bold cigar, could be different. CB 4

RijkdeGooier Posted October 7, 2018 Posted October 7, 2018 Another full bodied smoke for me would be the Montecristo No.2, especially those 1998 and older
ErikB72 Posted October 7, 2018 Posted October 7, 2018 From a C&C - angle : Having gone through several bundles of ‘16 Quintero Favoritos , I can say they are quite bold. I also had many Vegueros Entretiempos that were incredibly strong , though recent ones not so much
