First Lady Posted May 14, 2018 Posted May 14, 2018 Hello again everyone I hope everyone is enjoying the Competition , Cigar number Two seemed to stump a lot of members but please don't forget to post as you can still get a credit for every correct pick This is the thread to place your thoughts about what you think the flavour profile is and how it smoked ...... PLEASE DO NOT DISCLOSE WHAT YOU THINK IT IS .. just email Lisa [email protected] Once we have everyone's responses we will reveal the cigar. I will select cigars from same code and aroma/wrapper appearance as best I can. 2. . Cigars selected will be in current production. For the following cigars it is easy. Cigar 2 by the first Monday of May, June, July, August. Each time I will post the results via spreadsheet on the forum 7 days after the close of date. To the winner (who can correctly select most cigars sent) A $500 Gift voucher (USD/AUD). In the event of a tie, prize is split. Must be used within 90 Days of the end of the competition Also: A $25 credit for any cigar you pick right to be used on a box (or sampler) purchase over $125 (USD/AUD) from the carts or 24:24 stock. fitzy Posted May 15, 2018 Posted May 15, 2018 Just smoked #3. I'm pretty sure I know what it is and I've smoked a few in the past. Went back to my review notes and it matches my past experiences. 1
prodigy Posted May 15, 2018 Posted May 15, 2018 If number 2 was a robusto, then number 3 must be a double Corona! I smoked mine this morning. I've definitely had it before. Hopefully I can get one pick right...Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk

Guantanamera Posted May 19, 2018 Posted May 19, 2018 Extreme box press, the head was almost a perfect rectangle. Has a nice draw. Flavors seem familiar. Of course I’m probably wrong, oh well. 2

krish the fish Posted May 21, 2018 Posted May 21, 2018 Smoked number 3 yesterday. Seemed very familiar to me, as I've smoked a lot of this size in the recent past. I hope I'm not putting my foot in my mouth saying that, but I felt pretty good about my guess on it. Who knows though, I could be 100% off
tonyd58 Posted May 21, 2018 Posted May 21, 2018 Well, I lack patience. Been resting at 65/65 since received. Took the cap.off it was plugged, dry boxes it and lit it up. Used a perfect draw to fix it up and had not luck. In a fit of rage it quickly looked like the photo. It smelled really good pre light. 1 1
Luca Posted May 23, 2018 Posted May 23, 2018 Smoked mine tonight. I am pretty sure I know what it is. Cant wait to find out. Enjoyable smoke too. Great draw and burn. And yes. I emailed Lisa at the correct address this time @Fuzz 1
ElJavi76 Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 This thing burned like a dream. Real tasty too. @fastkiller13 and I burned this one in my garage and we think we know, but we don't. I was a bit disenchanted with the results from the last smoke, but I won't beat that dead horse anymore. Looking forward to this reveal. Good luck all. God knows we need it. 1
Philc2001 Posted May 26, 2018 Posted May 26, 2018 I smoked mine today, paired with a Cuban cortadito (no sugar), while I watched the rain overflow my pool. It's been raining nearly non-stop for 2 weeks, sheesh! There is a definite familiarity to this cigar, it started out medium bodied, and picked up some steam in the second half all the way to the end, morphing into a full bodied cigar. During the first half I thought I knew what it was, but the second half has me doubting. My cigar canoed almost all the way, I had to constantly touch it up. At the end of the 2nd third it went out, and I had to relight. Overall it was a good tasting cigar, draw was just right, but burn was a bit frustrating. The aroma was earthy with tones of slow burning oak. There was a nice melange of spices and fruit, especially in the middle. I'm going to take a wild guess on this one. 4
cardinalfan85 Posted May 27, 2018 Posted May 27, 2018 Got a new Weber smoker that I'm trying for the first time. The smell of cherry wood and pork ribs permeates the air, probably not the best conditions for a blind tasting. This cigar is burning very nicely. It has a buttery cream mouth feel and some light spice. Mine has a very slight box press. It is an enjoyable cigar. Here's to 0 for 3!Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 4
Arctic Dude Posted May 29, 2018 Posted May 29, 2018 Well...got around to smoking Cigar No. 3. Once again, a very enjoyable smoke and the performance was excellent! Notes of tuna (canned, not fresh sushi-grade), dandelion (the yellow part, not the leaves), and popcorn kernels. In other words, I have no clue and will be going back to my random number table for assistance! Good luck all! 1

Arctic Dude Posted May 30, 2018 Posted May 30, 2018 No....inside a Tuna @fitzy....is that not right?!?! 1

tigger Posted June 2, 2018 Posted June 2, 2018 I found #3 unbalanced, with a fair amount of bitterness, and a lot of youthful tanins. I'm trying to taste through that, and taking my best guess based on some familiar flavors...
mgcrunch Posted June 3, 2018 Posted June 3, 2018 Delicious. Dont think I can trust the measurements. Tastes familiar. 1
KnightsAnole Posted June 3, 2018 Posted June 3, 2018 Had to break out the perfecdraw for this one which saved it. Pleasant cigar, must say I’m stumped though.
CooGAR Posted June 4, 2018 Posted June 4, 2018 Damn.....forgot to smoke my #3 over the weekend. Oh well.
