KRunch61 Posted April 13, 2018 Posted April 13, 2018 We had three dogs and lost each one in consecutive years. It is absolutely heart-wrenching. Take some time, then go out and find another best friend that you can love the hell out of. I couldn't imagine life without one. 1
Islandboy Posted April 13, 2018 Posted April 13, 2018 I feel your pain, we lost our dog a few months back. I thought it might get easier with the 3rd one in several years, but it never does. Thanks for giving him your heart and your home.
havanaclub Posted April 13, 2018 Posted April 13, 2018 Very sorry for your loss brother. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
anacostiakat Posted April 13, 2018 Posted April 13, 2018 Very sorry for your loss. It is always tough. I feel your pain as we just lost our twelve year old Chinese shar-pei recently. Here is a little something I found comforting. 1
RumDog Posted April 13, 2018 Posted April 13, 2018 Very sorry for your loss. Goldens are amazing companions. We have a 4 month old puppy and he’s already a huge part of our lives. My thoughts go out to you.
Fuzz Posted April 13, 2018 Posted April 13, 2018 So sorry to hear of you loss. I dread the day when I will have to say goodbye to my boy Hunter.
MooseAMuffin Posted April 13, 2018 Posted April 13, 2018 Sorry for your loss. I lost my smoking buddy almost 2 months ago. Cigars on the deck haven't been the same without him. I like to think they watch over us while we smoke now.
BlackFriar Posted April 13, 2018 Posted April 13, 2018 So sorry for your loss. One of the worst days in my life was having to put my Fiona down two years ago. I still miss her every day.
Monterey Posted April 14, 2018 Posted April 14, 2018 I had to put my pal down a few hours ago. I feel your pain. Your post made me realize I was being selfish. Had to end the pain and not let her suffer anymore. So thanks.
rcarlson Posted April 14, 2018 Posted April 14, 2018 Tonight I'll make a toast to Murph and Monterey's loyal companion! Hang in there fellas.
BBS Posted April 15, 2018 Posted April 15, 2018 So sorry to hear. Last November we lost our oldest Chi, Lucy. She'd lived 17 1/2 years, so she had a great run. Still ripped me up. She was one of nine little dogs we have. What was nine is now eight. You'd think you'd hardly notice it, but there's clearly a missing voice in the herd. You can never replace a loved dog, but you can get another. I've always felt the best way to honor a beloved pet is to save the life of another. Lots of shelter dogs need a home with love, good food, and a warm place to sleep. When it feels right, it's something to consider. My heart goes out to you....I've paddled that canoe, and it's hard to do.
Thig Posted April 15, 2018 Posted April 15, 2018 Sorry to hear about your loss, people without pets have no idea how much you can love and be attached to them. Remember the good times, thankfully time makes it easier to remember the good without being broken.
Buck14 Posted April 15, 2018 Posted April 15, 2018 Hanging with Bruno and we’re thinking bout you and Murph!
westg Posted April 15, 2018 Posted April 15, 2018 Sorry to here....he looks very happy....and very loved by you..
