Where did you find Punch DC? And are those monte 80th and talisman with 19 codes? Surprised to see the 80th back. I went to the LCDH on 5 y 16, Hotel Comodoro, Melia Habana, Hotel Nacional and airport. I was able to enter the humidor in all locations except the Hotel Nacional and airport which I didn't have any $ left for anyways. Hotel Nacional had great customer service but wouldn't explain why I couldn't enter the humidor. Customs are Alex coronas and I was excited to find UEB SEP 17 Partagas Shorts which were for the house and we smoked the box in 4 days. Cohiba shorts and cigs were also for the house and I'm a big fan of the shorts now. Punch Punch and RA Superiores were picked up for others in the group, so I ended up taking home around 60 with no issues after smoking way to many while there. I'm not sure if it was just the atmosphere, but the smoking the Vigia after dinner on our porch while listening to the La Floridita band was the best cigar I've ever had. 12 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Not sure why, I thought it was supposed to be the flag ship store. How was it stocked when you were there? Hotel Nacional can be a tough one. I also end up getting inside, but I've been told many times we couldn't enter. One of the ladies who works there just refuses to allow anyone. Other people there seem to let you in. Very annoying. Not sure if it’s still the case but a few years ago I’d get a good size pizza for one and a beer for 5 CUC. Also nice lounge area in the store for a cigar and one if there very good espresso’s. It was one of the best I went to while being all around Havana. If your traveling with a female, take her for the Daquiris. She said out of the 30 + that she tried, that place had the best one. First pic was from July 2018 and does not include the 7 bottles of HC 7 and the 1 ton Hotel Nacional ashtray (at least that’s what it felt like in my backpack!) Second photo from April with some hand rolls from Reynaldo and some Lusitanias among others. Sir Winston’s were the unicorns for this trip as 5 different LCDH’s turned up nothing. Same exact boat for me on the Sir Winstons (though there were 4 boxes in there when I grabbed mine on Christmas Day). Not allowed in on 12/23.
