I don’t know how many times I’ve had to say, “I promise I’m good for it!” I’ve tried everything, even requesting a permanent authorization with my credit card ... still gets declined a few times before it goes through! Besides. They should be reading or playing outside and getting fresh air". Only after we convince them we pay the bill, she lives elsewhere, and she has a cat she thinks is smarter than us, do they say, OK. CB
cigcars Posted March 29, 2018 Posted March 29, 2018 MAN! Am I glad to see I have company here concerning the banks declining our charges "for safety reasons, etc." when we try to patronize the Czar! And I too have been and am eternally grateful for Diana's patience when she has to alert us the charge didn't go through as she calmly responds to my emails of, "OH JESUS!" and "FOR FREAK'S ( you know the four letter word really desired to be used!) SAKE!!!" And she awaits with Saintly fortitude our response back to her about our calling our bank in very well hidden hysteria and outrage telling them it's okay - let the charges go through - they're a trusted and reputable company! And then...having to wait agonizing hours later on our part, pacing holes in the carpet while smoking incessantly and checking back to finally hear the good news from Di - "Your charges have gone through and we can proceed with your order!" WHHHHEEEWWWW, and can finally sit down and relax; again - WHHHHEEEWWWW!

Thanks for your patience, @WarriorPrincess My bank’s fraud protection is terrible. They ONLY block my legitimate charges. I book plane tickets to travel and they block my card because I’m using it away from home... where i have a traceable travel itinerary to. Someone swiped my pin from a card reader and charges up my account 2,000 miles away while I’m simultaneously using my card for daily purchases at home? They let that slide.

fitzy Posted March 29, 2018 Posted March 29, 2018 Yup she did a great job dealing with me and my credit card company thinking it's a fraudulent charge. My bank had done that on like 3 orders but now it appears they have gotten a tad smarter.
