The stores should let you open the boxes to look before you buy so it isn’t really blind.

Really meant best current regular production , as for opening boxes 63 Calle Varadero not a chance at the plaza usually. Will probably have to pull out the YUL also. Not sure how much time I will have for cigar recon in Havana .

If you can pick up a few Talisman, do so. three boxes would pay for your trip :D

Your list is solid  + Partagas 898 are floating around.

Speaking of 898s, any idea if/when we might see some up on the 24:24 again? :wink2:

No need to buy blind-as mentioned above ask to open boxes which are sealed.Should not be an issue and if it is move to the next store!

Picked up the last 2 dusty boxes of Fonseca Number 1's both  UME ENE 2015 (very nice) in the Nacional's humidor and a bunch of Alphonso and Reynaldo's custom rolls. Did not have time to make to the Comodoro unfortunately for the Punts . But very pleased with the haul. Cheers. :)

How’s the overall inventory at the National?

When I was there in January they had no Cohibas over a Sig 2 and very little overall stock

I did buy 2 of the 4 boxes of Sir Winnie’s they had

Can't say specifically as to Marca but thin for sure after the festival. Cohibas were slim picks everywhere I was. Reynaldo however had all kinds of customs available , even a couple days after the festival.
