Popular Post PrairieSmoke Posted January 19, 2018 Popular Post Posted January 19, 2018 Greetings B/SOTL! I’m trying my hand at my first review with a NC because...I’m still waiting for my CC from CUNTIT to come in the mail I received this box from my father over Christmas, so I thought I might as well review something new to me. Appearance: The cigar itself is without blemish. The wrapper is smooth without any large veins and has a beautiful color. The cigar has a firm feel and seems well constructed. Before the light: The cigar has a sweetness with a slight hint of raisin and some cedar. First Third: The cigar lights easily and you are greeted with spice, cedar, and a subtle hint of charred oak — I might be under the power of suggestion here! The draw is flawless. Second Third: The cigar really hits its stride in this area. The cedar and spice continue with voluminous smoke and a smooth cream. The profile seems really well balanced here and I think just about anyone, especially a beginner would really enjoy this. The ash hangs on here beyond the halfway mark. Final Third: The cedar and spice increase in strength at this point, any sense of their bourbon barrel is gone for me. There is a pleasant warmth through the end of the cigar. Overall: This was really a pleasant smoke from start to finish. I wouldn’t say it was overly exciting in its flavor profile, just a nice gentle and balanced smoke. Sitting on the porch with sunshine and 49 degrees in Minnesota is a real treat this time of year. Not only was the smoke a joy, but it facilitated a peaceful experience listening to the breeze and a nearby ring-necked pheasant calling out from the grove! Cheers from the Prairie! 7 1
cigcars Posted January 20, 2018 Posted January 20, 2018 You won't go wrong with a Perdomo smoke; his cigars are very good, and are very good quality all around. Plus Nick Perdomo doesn't seem to feature cigars with less than a 46in. ring gauge, I suppose to make sure nobody feels skimped on with too skinny a cigar - IMHO. He uses primarily 100% Nicaraguan tobacco, although I think he may be introducing a few different country wrappers for some of his newer entries. 1 1

I haven’t had a bad experience with one of his cigars yet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1
