Benzopyrene Posted January 10, 2018 Posted January 10, 2018 The partagas Conniseur Series and ERDM Grandes de Espana were big losses for me. Wish I had had the money at that time in my life to stock up a little better. Also the death of all the 50 cabs is very disappointing

I wouldn't say you're paranoid--the RAG has a target squarely on its back as does the VRDA and SCEM. HSA has shown no reluctance to take a marca down to one or two models. I would not be surprised if the only Prominentes in production in 2020 are the Punch DC and the Lusitanias which will probably never go away, thankfully. 7 hours ago, tigger said: And Partagas SDCs. I would say in all my time consulting with other BOTLs the most missed cigar is the PSdC line, and the Ninfas are frequently mentioned as well. Amazing that HSA can find a way to produce PLMC and LGC MdO4 but not the SdC line or the Ninfas. I have no doubt these would sell if reintroduced. My most missed cigars are the BCE, Party Charlottes, Coronas, Lonsdales, Punch SS1/2 and the Trini RT (which I get reminded of each time I smoke the few I have--12 I think) 1

Fugu Posted January 10, 2018 Posted January 10, 2018 Favourite discontinued for me has to be the RyJ Celestiales Finos. The ones I smoked have been crappy sticks. RA Belvederes coming in second. Not missing any of them.... (or maybe I got something wrong here... ) 2 1
joeypots Posted January 10, 2018 Posted January 10, 2018 There are so many that could name. Most of them.
Vortigan Posted January 11, 2018 Posted January 11, 2018 BCE by a long way! ERDM Tainos by not quite such a distance, but pretty far nonetheless. Just one solitary example of the latter left that I know I'll probably never bring the fire to!

After all these years I realize that the cigars I miss the most are the small RG ERDMs (GdE, Panatelas Largas, Corona de Luxe) althought I've never purchased them in big quantities. Finding a GOOD box of GdEs was already difficult in the early 2000's. 1

Cohiba is a marca where certain vitolas go into hiatus from time-to-time due to shortage/s of quality leaf, although thankfully no regular production Cohiba is currently discontinued. The Siglo III was hard to source a little while ago, now it's all Behike, Siglo V, Lanceros and Esplendidos that are currently scarce. In fact, I think there's a shortage of quality Siglo VI lately...now that is one Cohiba vitola that is very, very popular! 1

cookj1 Posted January 20, 2018 Posted January 20, 2018 Dip 5. Such a cheerful short smoke. Punch RS. Just so damn good. Boli CG. Have to hoard the ones I have left. All Dunhills and Davidoffs, ‘cuz they were the premium sh*t before the current stuff became premium. Epic blends and epic tobacco. Boli Inmensa. Ridiculously good and bewildered as to how they ever got cut. Always seemed to be a staple in everyone’s humidor back in the day.
hoyopr Posted January 20, 2018 Posted January 20, 2018 Yes probably the Bolivar Inmensa is the one I miss most.
